Since 1994, the J.U.N.E. Project has united teenagers from Methodist churches all over New Jersey in an effort to express Christ's love to the communities of Pottsville, Reading and other towns in Pennsylvania. The mission has not only been a blessing to the communities that have been served, but also to the young people who pay their own way and spend a week of their summer vacation serving others. In 2007, the city of Pottsville presented the J.U.N.E. Project with the key to the city and continues to return the affection that the teenagers have shown to their community.
